Hello,

Hi CeeOne,
Why not let us know which method you're using and tell us how it's working for you? Members can then choose to share their own experiences with you if they wish
I have cut out cheese and eat a sensible diet. Plenty veg, less fruit. I eat carbs and meat. It’s slo but I can go anywhere! As Moreless said what do you do?Weight loss, imho is nothing to do with food and more to do with your head. I’ve never lost this much in 40 years, being accountable in my weekly group is the best, better than all the fat clubs because I’m here and it’s free
I don't snack and don't overthink . 3 meals per day around the 400 , 400 , 650 cal for guidance . So I eat cottage cheese , full fat Greek yogurt , porridge made with water . Chicken , tinned fish , loads of salad , veg , 3 egg omelettes . The odd slice of bread , glass of wine . When I eat out I have just a main course . Exercise = You Tube Zumba . Walking - once I am out maybe 2/3 hours - comfortable 8 miles or so . Mine is now a don't think about it lifestyle.
I follow a modified Mediterranean diet. I try to walk every day and go to the gym for the bike and sitting elliptical machine 3 days a week. I recently had back surgery, so working my way back up to that.Welcome. Max.
I am using Nutracheck (which is £7.99 a month), but is an excellent calorie tracker, weight loss diary and exercise counter too. I prefer this forum at Health Unlocked to theirs, as there seem to be more people on here of my generation! When I stick to the calorie allowance of 1500-1700 per day, I lose weight; but have had a few slip ups along the way. I am not in any rush though, here for the long haul, and pleased to feel less breathless and clothes getting looser! I have tried doing it without logging in my food, and I find I cheat too often….so it worth forking out the money to make me stick with it. Good luck with your weight control plans too!
