Just to say thank you to everyone who has responded to my rambling posts. My first couple have been so negative and gloomy but this group and your responses have lifted my spirits. I've not been able to respond to everyone's replies to mine but I am so grateful for all of them.💕
I've recently come back to this forum after a few years away and I'm so glad I'm back. Just one of a number of steps I'm taking to face up to things and get my mojo back which seems to have been missing, one way or another, for the last 10 years!
Day 1 today of my 3 day detox - smoothies, herbal teas.
Then 16:8 fasting, while watching my carbs and processed foods - easy huh!? 😉
Exercise will follow once I'm feeling more settled in my eating and comfortable in myself.
Fortunately, now we are back in the office more regularly, the woman I work with really treats her body like a temple and with great respect. She is not showy or pushy with her lifestyle, she just does what she does. I have long admired her gentle discipline and how she really does look after herself, so she is a good, positive person to be around. Now it's my time to learn to do the same for myself.
