Hello all.when I was young I believed when I got to a milestone birthday I could let go and enjoy all those forbidden naughties.as I reached each milestone ,I could not let go and so I retained a reasonable weight.now I am 77 and have Health issues which means I have to keep shielding myself .obviously now I have a creeping weight problem .I really need to control my weight for my health etc .not massively over weight but If I am not happy it’s a problem for me

Hello Maggiemaynot43,

Welcome to this forum. I discovered this one via the running forums. Both the running and the weight loss forums have proved to be so informative and encouraging. Do you have many pounds weight that you wish to lose and have you a particular plan in mind?

I read in your profile that you suffer with arthritis. I had a fall recently and my x-ray showed that I have arthritis in my knee which I had no knowledge of before that. Have you found any thing that brings some relief to any symptoms that you have?

All the best with your weightless journey. 🌸😊

Hello there, arthritis was discovered in right knee, had to have an operation to tidy up and trim meniscus.had periods of a lot of pain.daughter is a physio and she gave me excersises to strengthen the muscles that hold knee firm.absolutely brilliant .my main issue was when I was diagnosed with RA though because that affects more joints.being confined because of COVID has not helped at all so weight has been creeping even though I am not eating naughty foods as such.I guess it’s more to do with lack of excersise .but I thought I can get some tips and see if I can shift about a stone.at 77 the skinny look would not be good although probably healthier
