Bloated in the heatwave?

Has anyone noted swelling over the dreadful heatwave? I feel bloated and it doasnt look nice yet I'm sticking with my salads?

Hi Michele22 yes my ankles are swollen up. Not a good look but hopefully temporary as they should return to normal when the temperature drops. It’s a good excuse to sit down with my feet up! Lol Hope you get back to normal soon too.

Yes the same here!!!! My tummy bloated to...I wasnt eating much in the heat,.

Yep, my ankles swelled up in the heat. I’ve never known it happen before. Also, due to having bad eczema on my hands, I started taking my rings off at night. One morning I couldn’t get them back on again! Already better now the temperature has dropped. 😁

I’ve not felt bloated though.

This has been mentioned on several forums I have been on over the years, so it’s only anecdotal, I’ve not looked for any research.

Lots of times people have noticed feeling bloated or swollen during the hot weather, especially in the UK as there is always humidity. Often people have said that despite sticking with their eating plans they have gained weight/and or their measurements have increased. I’ve gained 1/2 an inch on every measurement this week! It will return to normal with the cooler weather.
