Hi guys, I’ve downloaded the NHS Weight loss app to help me keep track of my weight loss journey. I have been struggling so much to loose weight at the moment I am 13st 3lb and I am 20 years old. I do suffer with hormone imbalances alongside with Endometriosis and IBS. I have had an obsession that lasted weeks and months on end where I was weighing my self up to three time a day, I would sob just by looking at myself in the mirror.

My goal I to loose at least a stone (more would be amazing) just so I can feel happier and healthier again. So far I’ve been running for 25 min three times a week alongside with healthy eating and keeping my calorie intake around 1,500... I do study a Dance Degree at university so a lot of me is built up in muscle!

If you guys have any tips to help me reach my goal that’ll be amazing.

Hello and welcome, Emjay24 😊

I wonder if you're eating enough, given the amount of exercise you have. If you want to stick with calorie counting, I recommend going to the NHS BMI calculator where you'll find the appropriate range for you.

Also, it may be worth looking at other options as you say you've been eating healthily and exercising well yet not losing weight. There's a lot of outdated information around, particularly about fat being the "baddie". Have a look at the Diet Myths post in Pinned Posts. This is a straightforward plan that could serve you well phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

You'll find all the information you need about the forum in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... including a Welcome message. A good place to start is by joining a weekly weigh in on the day of your choice, and using the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans.

This gives you a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true and, along with Pinned Posts, will show you how things work. I hope you'll become an active member and we will see you joining in around the forum 😊

PS the app doesn’t give access to all parts of the forum so we advise everyone to get rid of the app and log on to the full website using the browser on their phone

You're doing excellent things. I'd suggest finessing particular food items, but you'll get that from the Daily Diary threads. Good luck. 😄
