If you're following a low carb way of eating, then eating to appetite is exactly what you should be doing, as long as what you are eating is nutritious. Calorie counting is a redundant chore.

I've hardly eaten anything these past few days, because it's been too hot, but I know that further down the line I'll have some very hungry days and I'll make up for lost time.

Just trust what your body is telling you.

If it’s only a few days I wouldn’t worry about it. But maybe reflect on the reasons. Is it the hot weather? Or is it stress?

If you worry you are not getting enough food, try something like avocado which is filling and nutritious.

It's hard try find healthy foods I like I think I lived on carbs before it's just salad and fruit and yogurts. It was not to bad first week apart from headache but this week not feeling it. I feel OK but not good with understanding my mood my mum is in hospital and this shielding is doing my head in not going shops and other people do my head in thinking I can do the same as them but I'm try to stick to my shielding letter hope next week's a better week thank you for reply I try avocado don't think I've had it before

You have a lot to cope with, it is understandable that you’re “not feeling it”. Don’t worry about not eating if you don’t feel like it, the weather will be another factor in lack of appetite. Try and make sure you are drinking plenty of fluid and add a little salt, flakes rather than table salt for preference and health, to your food. You may be a bit short on electrolytes and some salt will help sort that out.

I hope you enjoy your avocado, it’s one of my favourites. I had half a one for breakfast this morning. They are best eaten at room temperature - in my opinion 😀.
