- on-line piano lesson prep and then the lesson, arrival of a new MacBook Pro which I had to set-up and sync with my other devices - all very time consuming! PLUS ... it's real stinker of a day out there; rain, hail, sleet and a cold North wind .. I'll make up for it tomorrow! (Hopefully!)

You've posted on the main forum page, Dambo. I don't know if you meant to.
This will help you find the weigh in and the Daily Diary where you can post your meal plans healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... Saturday's Diary is open now
Do you know how to copy and paste generally? If so, just copy, go to the Daily Diary and paste where it says Reply to Salcheq (Saturday's host).
Remember for the weigh in in the morning, you need to go to the weigh in post in Pinned Posts.
If you click on Write and have to fill in a format and write a title, you aren't joining an existing post/event, you're writing a new post on the forum/
Spend a few minutes on the Diary so you get familiar with it. And for the weigh in, we ask everyone to reply to at least three others so you'll soon get to know the rest of the team
Hi Dambo. We’re giving the lesson or having it? I give online guitar lessons and have a digital studio. It’s very hard to tear myself away from it and exercise but I’m finding a balance. Keep on rockin’!
Great to hear Geetarplayer! No, I'm having tuition form a guy in Sussex (I'm in N. Ireland) and he's top-notch.
I have a small studio set-up in my study which I tinker about on from time to time. I played in a pop band for about 20 years and had a 24-tk analogue studio back in the 80s; I then decided to finish my degree that I'd started at 18 and ended up becoming a college lecturer for the next 25 years.
In my pop-group days I did arrangements for a 3-piece brass section and chorded all the covers for the group. Oftentimes I'd end up playing the keyboard but I was completely self-taught and decided now in retirement to take on the challenge of learning how to play correctly, hence the lessons and my decision to do my Trinity Grade exams ...
Keep me posted as to how you're getting on ... I too know what it's like to get lost in working on a piece of music and suddenly find that half the day has gone!
Nice one. I’ve taught in colleges also, and damn that you live in N Ireland because I’m looking for a keyboard player for my prog rock band! Ne’er mind! Sorry for anyone else btw! This is 2 musos getting off the point somewhat!
Sweet! I'm a Pink Floyd freak and like a dollop of Procol Harum - some of their lesser known album tracks are a real ear-opener. Partial to a bit of Moody Blues as well. To be honest, I listen to all kinds and get a kick out of what sound good in my ears/head - love the Mozart Clarinet Concertos and a bunch of other classical stuff; I suppose it's that notion of Prog being the marriage of the classical and rock(?)
I like nothing better than a brisk walk with a PF/PH playlist in my headphones - before this nightmare lockdown palaver I used playlists that I had synchronised to different walks!
It doesn’t get better than Pink Floyd! I saw them at Knebworth back in ??? Whenever! I’m also into ELP plus plus. I love Bach and Delius and a bit of Mozart now and then. The Requiem is a fine bit of prog😉. I’m going to do some cross training to maybe Saint Saens or Tarkus or both! I ain’t died before I got old!
