Sometimes when you think you have the least time, you actually end up having more time than you realise. This has not always been the case, but today it has. There were a few reasons for this and this is what I reflect on today.
How great that you are identifying the time you truly have and what is distracting you. I installed an app showing the time I spend on my phone and it horrified me 😳Well done with having just the one beer. I’ve decided to leave out the wine 🍷 now. Even though I’d limited it to the weekend, it’s just habit-forming so I’ve been on the lookout for replacement drinks. I’ve been having cold herbal teas and cumin lassi (gorgeous 😋). Good luck for the rest of the week 👍
Hi Sheperdess. I've gone for Bud Light, which is only 80 calories a bottle, so I can enjoy one if I want one (I almost wrote 'need' then!) and hopefully it'll help my normal binge drinking that put me here in the first place. I need to learn to moderate it and be in control, so having one every now and again puts me in control, not the beer. I certainly know what you mean in terms of habit forming though, I was doing that every night with whisky, which I have now stopped. Good luck for today!
I'm glad you had a productive day inspite of thinking you wouldn't as you were running late. It's interesting how that concentrated your mind so you achieved your goals without becoming distracted and having a quick snack in passing.
Well done on being strong and having and enjoying just the one beer.
Hi Lavender54, thank you again for your support, it means a lot. Sometimes I have loads of time and get nothing done; other days I hardly any and feel like I have achieved everything I wanted to. I don't know why that happens! Maybe I should get up late more days? Hehe.
