I have had an account on here for a while but I've not done a thing to exercise or lose weight. But this week i decided enough is enough. I have been out twice this week doing week 1 of couch to 5k.. God, first time I got drenched and thought I was going to die. Second time was just as tough but felt good. Im doing again this eve and I can't wait. I'm trying to eat better...no picking...I've not been perfect but on the whole I've swapped naughty stuff for fruit. I'm 51 and I actually feel I can do this. It's my dream to run 5K

I did the C25k starting this time last year and it was very satisfying to run for 30 mins - not 5k but a manageable 30 mins. Good luck with it and I hope you'll join our Fit is Fun club.
You'll find that and everything else you need to use the forum in our Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... I recommend joining a weekly weigh-in, for team support, and using the Daily Diary to share your meal plans.
Apart from that, read, ask questions, join in and above all support others: it's amazing how that pays off for you, too.
