Hi guys, so i started my diet on 1st january (cliché, i know ).

I have always had problems with my relationship with food. When i had my second child i lost 4st and wemt down to 11st. I maintained that for 3 years....And then i fell pregnant again....by due date i crept up too 15 1/2 st ...post pregnancy, i managed to get down to 14 st, ive been on a calarie counting 'diet' for a week and shockingly i have gone and lost 6lbs! Which is fab. Told a friend she replied 'from where' - someone setting me up to fa il! Please Give me motivation as obviously i cant get it anywhere else.

Hello Katyh92! O dear, some friend there! Welcome to the Forum . Shifting weight after pregnancies isn't easy so well done you for deciding to crack on with it.

You will have been sent a Welcome post on registration which gives you lots of advice and guidance on how to navigate this site.

Here's a reminder link to the Site Guide

There's a lot there but it's worth taking your time to read, honest!

We recommend you joining a Weekly Weigh In on the day of your choice, and using the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans and get useful feedback.

It would be a good idea to check out your BMI if you've not already done so..you don't need a tape measure just your weight and height and here's a link to the NHS calculator

Please also read this information about security, especially as your post is unlocked

A key feature of our Forum is the support between members which you will experience (and add to yourself !) as you join in and chat with others. This should encourage you and boost your motivation.

It might be a bit quiet on Forum now but that gives you a chance to explore the site

All the best on your journey ! 😊

Ignore them, this is about you, just stick to your diet plan You can do it! Although at the start it may be all you think about, perhaps don’t mention it to those around you who are so unsupportive, your success will be the best ‘I TOLD YOU SO’ you have ever said, sadly sometimes others want to keep you as you are as their own security blanket, not fair! And amongst friends their can be an element of jealousy - seeing you in control and going for it, well tough, this is the new you, they will just have to get used to it! I hate americanisms but YOU GO GIRL - You are so worth it.
