Just joined - ready to get my weigh down way down!

I'm new here and I'm looking forward to taking part in the weekly weigh-ins. My starting weight is 95.8kg. I would like to ask how I begin taking part in them, I'm not sure which post to add my name to or whatever. But I'm excited to get started with my weight loss journey - I just discovered rye bread and I'm loving it toasted so this is already a step in the right direction. I'm also vegetarian and I would love to share veggie recipes with anyone who's interested.

See you at the weigh-ins!

Lewis

Never mind about the weigh-ins question, I found the pinned post explaining them. Looking forward to being able to post my first weight loss!

Well done! There are lots of Recipes that people post on here too see Lytham's Larder post which links you to recipes others have posted.

That's probably enough links to last a lifetime!

If you like soup it is easy to make, I make some every week and it lasts for the week, After Xmas I made veg, soup but I put some jelly from my step daughters turkey. We brought it home for the dog but I thought it was too good for him. Ordinary veg, of any sort with flavouring herbs whatever are very tasty, it helped me lose weight, good luck.

PS Lewis, tomorrows Weigh In page has been open since 9pm tonight and will be locked at 9pm tomorrow. Most people weigh themselves on getting up but it's entirely up to you. Have a look and you'll see how others reply with their weigh-ins. Good to have you aboard 😁

Hi Lewis and welcome.

If you look under Topics, you'll find 'Recipes - Vegetarian' plus if you looking at the Daily Diary (daily :) ), a number of the posters are vegetarian and you can see what is being eaten on a regular basis.

All the best and maybe see you in the DD as well :)

Hi, HaircutPolice , welcome.

I think I must be taller than you - my target (and current) weight is 95kg!

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.

Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
