Any way my issue is making myself eat properly and not pick as i work as a chef and it’s too easy to pick at food

30lbs! That's great. Especially when you are around food all day. It must be so easy to pick at food without noticing that you're doing it.
I have a chocolate comfort-eating habit - when I'm stressed, or tired, or bored (It is such a cliche!) I do it without thinking. It is such a strong habit. I can't remember a time in my life when chocolate wasn't there. I don't know how to break the habit.
Has anything helped you with your 30lbs ?
Pick at the right food . I used to cook as part of my job . Nibble some veg or like me make the most of the odd strawberry or blueberry . A carrot is quite filling , takes time to eat and a distraction.

Well done on avoiding temptation enough to have lost that much already.
I'm only just starting and have never done your job so my suggestion may be rubbish so ignore it if it is.
Is it possible for you to have the chance to write down nearby anything you've picked on?
At least that way you would be eating consciously and can maybe incorporate it in your daily allowance?
