Morning all! I am on a gradual health plan and thought check in here! I have had a really stressful year - work mainly, lots of long commuting - and got into some really bad eating habits: ordering deliveroo as was too stressed to cook, buying M&S sweet treats to try to reduce stress! No exercise and bingo put on over a stone! So, I have started on Mindful Chef which have found really useful as still very busy at work but, the boxes come with pre prepared ingredients and recipe book so dead easy and nothing takes longer than 30 mins. I have in past 2 weeks lost almost half a stone, mainly I think through eating healthily & a few long walks (8 - 11k) 2/3 times a week. I am aiming to by Xmas loose 16 pounds, more or less 2 pounds a week to get back down to 9 st. 7 pounds. I would love then to get down to 9 stone in the new year. Just logging on here to add to my determination to do this properly

It is certainly possible, but why buy expensive boxed meals, it is so easy to make your own. Before last March my husband did most of the cooking, but I cook differently now. Funny enough he is losing weight also, although he still has biscuits for supper. Since March I have lost 2st. I never thought I would lose that much, I am really pleased. It is the maintaining the weight now I have to do. I wish you success in your weight loss journey.
Fantastic! Well done. If I literally don’t have the stuff in front of me all prepared at moment with 2-3 hours at home every night I won’t cook. My other half eats totally differently and I need to eat differently. He could do the cooking but fear he would be too slap dash with oil and add butter etc!
So I am now 3 weeks into my weight loss programme and have lost 8 pounds. I am now in the middle of the most stressful week of my year work wise as have back to back events every night. Am loving the mindful chef as it takes all the thinking out of my hands and literally have no time to think when home. Probably when I’m no longer working like a maniac I will give it up. I am impatient but thinking this slowly approach will actually work. Can’t wait for next Saturday when finish all events and can get stuck into running and just general regular exercise 😀 so far am on track for 9.7 stone for Xmas.
