I am a 37 year old married female, and parent to 15 month old daughter. I am approx 2 1/2 stone overweight and it is ALL on my tummy - which I know is very dangerous. I've got IBS and already had my gall bladder removed 10 years ago. Now I have umbilical hernia following pregnancy, and have got to have surgery to fix! I have tried so many diets in the past, but now I have baby and trying to work etc, I am finding it nearly impossible to stick to anything. Not to mention I have anxiety issues which have been a continual issue since childhood.
Just interested in anyone similar, any tips, or success stories?
Many Thanks

Agree with above, plus the following long term approach. No cakes, chocolates, sweets. No spoons of sugar in tea, coffee etc. Try to stay away from fruit juice. No alcohol. Check list of glycaemic index foods and choose. If you use a blender you can make vegetable drinks- be prepared for a less than wonderful taste - but persevere. Once you get to size 10, a cake (whole) could be taken as a prize!
