Hello, Nicole_98, and welcome to the forum :)

I'm not sure what you mean by "detox": our bodies are designed to deal with any waste products that might build up and if our liver, kidneys and skin are working well, that's all that's needed theguardian.com/lifeandstyl....

If you're thinking in terms of a healthier lifestyle, my tip would be to eat well, real food, home cooked; avoid processed foods - and that includes anything labeled low fat or diet or light, all heavily processed; reduce the carbohydrates that tend to fill the plate - bread, potatoes, rice, pasta - those starchy foods make most of us feel sluggish; increase veg and don't be afraid of healthy fats e.g. cooking with olive oil and butter.

This is a busy place with loads of support and information to help you on your way and we've put everything you need into this Welcome Newbies post. I recommend joining a weekly weigh in and using the Daily Diary healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Great, that's the way to go :)

To make it more interesting, you could give yourself mini-challenges e.g. finding a new veg each week (one you've never had or haven't had for ages) and try two or three different ways of cooking it. You'll pick up loads of ideas at the Daily Diary - all directions in the Welcome Newbie post I've linked for you

Welcome Nicole. Under that definition, I'd cut out the crap ;) focusing more on unprocessed food and drink.

Many of us here follow lchf. For me, limiting carbs has had a positive effect.
