Hi and welcome, Lisaj22 :)

It's probably advisable for you to discuss your medication with your GP, maybe there's an alternative that wouldn't cause weight gain?

Hi

Don’t normally participate in these forums but this really strikes a chord. Yes, same as you. Weight has ballooned to nearly 14 stone (was always plump) but overall health is about being well not just looking good. Get right in yourself first, then worry about weight!

Sorry - wish I could say ‘the weight falls off next week’

Hi .Thanks for your reply .it makes perfect sense.i take the citalopram for panic attacks which were horrific but thankfully the tablets have calmed them down a lot .i think its just a bit of vanity on my behalf that i dont like the weight gain side effect ! Thanks again for your reply and i wish you all the best 😊😊
