Need help!
Hi Aychell, well done on deciding you wanted to eat more healthily and making your first post on here. The best place to start is to look at the Daily Diary for Monday July 29th. I'll add a link asap. On that you'll see people explaining their eating plans and you can get ideas about what things you could eat and how planning can help you. You'll get ideas on what to eat and what to avoid. If you are feeling hungry it sounds as if you need good things that can satisfy (good fats like greek yoghurt, cheese, things like eggs and vegetables) not too many carbs like bread, potatoes, rice and pasta and healthy snacks not crisps or sugary things that dont satisfy hunger. Eating lots of vegetables helps and snacking on those or things like rice cakes should help. It's a step by step thing. Try the Daily Diary first. Hang on in there and it will get better as you get more savvy about what is really good for you. Here's the link, good luck!
Welcome Aychell.
I'm sorry that you're feeling hungry. It probably means you're not eating enough. Diane has already linked in the Daily Diary for today for you and it's a really good place to start.
I hope it doesn't seem like a chore to post your menu for the day as it is likely to help you reach your goal without the struggle you're going through plus there's a good chance that you'll find that eating 'healthily' is much more fun and tastier than you might have imagined.
This forum is full of wonderfully helpful, kind and knowledgeable people so make the most of them and ask all the questions you have.
Best of luck!
Hello and welcome to the forum Aychell
The best advice I can give is have enough to eat. If you are following the NHS 12 Week plan then the 1400/1900 calorie target suggested is a just generic amount, please check your own personal calorie target using the BMI checker, it’s often higher than you think. We always advise starting towards the top of the range, being hungry is the biggest cause of weight loss failure.
Also what you eat is important, see here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
You will have been given links to our Pinned Posts in your Welcome message when you first joined, please read them carefully, especially the Welcome Newbies and the Security Post (most important as I notice you haven’t locked your post).
This is a very busy forum with lots going on but feel free to ask if you have any questions 😊
Best Wishes in your weight loss journey

As others have said, if you're hungry, you're not eating enough. "Resisting" the urge to eat is a losing proposition for two reasons: 1) it makes you miserable, and you can't possibly sustain it forever and 2) it will slow your weight loss, because when your body senses that food is in short supply it retains bodyfat as a survival mechanism.
Just make sure you're eating foods that don't make you fat, and you'll be fine. If you haven't already, a good start would be ditching all packaged/processed food (eg., sliced bread of any sort, sugary drinks, breakfast cereals, biscuits, prepared sauces) and low-fat products (which are usually full of rubbish replacing the fat). Prepare your own meals from wholesome ingredients - vegetables, meat, eggs, dairy - and don't heap up your plate with potatoes, rice or pasta. Don't limit your dietary fat; I know that's counter-intuitive, but fat does not make you fat. Eat until you're full, and don't snack. If you feel compelled to snack, it's most likely because you didn't eat enough. If in doubt, add more veggies. If you don't like veggies, find some recipes that do more interesting things with them (us Brits are notorious for just boiling our veg to death).
If you stick to this, you should find that your appetite naturally regulates to your calorie target, and you'll lose weight painlessly.
