Weight loss journey: Hi everyone I... - Weight Loss Support
Weight loss journey
Come on then, you can do it, better than before. Just get talking to yourself, out loud, in the mirror. If not now, then when? If not you, then who? What do you really want? How strong are you? Where's the inner tiger gone? Only you can do this so knuckle down, get your head in the mode you know works, and just move forward. . . . . . . YOU CAN!
Hi gilly you are right but I feel weak now its almost 8 months tat I m on diet ifeel bored now I always feel hungry even if I eat a large plate of fruits.
Are you hungry? If it's hunger then maybe you're not using your calorie allowance well. Try making some veg soup . . . . . anything will do. I even chuck lettuce and cucumber in the mix! It'll keep a couple of days and can be an emergency hunger-stopper. Hot is sometime more filling? I am with you and can feel your pain. I paint my nails when I get pangs of hunger (boredom) and then I can't prepare food for an hour! Often the pangs go. I go to bed early if all else fails! Keep going.
So your either a) stuck or b) you have stopped...if it's a then your post is late and should of asked for help a while back everyone is motivated in different ways you need to find what is personal to you. I personally use YouTube motivation videos that I save as playlists. See other peoples transformations there are people on there with huge illness disease and manage to lose 120 lbs etc also I use pro athlete workouts with motivational speeches.
At the end of the day you can achieve whatever you set your mind to....however if you think you can't do it, then you can't. If you think you can...then you can...
So which one are you. Good luck.
P.s. If you did get stuck and your late to post give us details of workouts diets food journals? How are you tracking weighing food? Etc then we can see where it's going wrong...is does get harder the slimmer you get though which is why we call it a lifestyle change not a diet...coz I diet means you go back to your old eating habits which we know how that ends.

In morning I eat special k corn flakes with a bowl of fruits then in lunch I eat boiled rice with low cakorie curry same in dinner and when I feel hungry in between I eat nuts try to drink water as well I also watched you tube videos to motivate myself but dont know what shoule I do for long term motivation
Perhaps you could try a cereal with less sugar in? Or go for a protein breakfast?
Yup Penel is spot on, Special K isn't actually that special jus make sure your weighing breakfast as everyone overestimates portion sizes here. When I took the food journal lab at uni I actually was having 3x recommended portion I was shocked! It was only one bowl and not even full! Still a lot of sugar in fruit even if it's natural it's still sugar. My YouTube stuff is more for exercise motivation, for continuous motivation you can buy clothes a size under, post a picture of family, house, cars, a holiday you wish to go on anything that gives you the purpose to be a better person. Find out what inspires you is the key, obese losing 10 stone or an army vet losing a leg and losing wright and then competing for country loads of inspiration out there, we just need to see rather than just look.
Losing 50 pounds is a fantastic achievement. I think you just need to be really single-minded about losing the weight, whatever else is going on.
Hi sadit,
I agree losing 50 lbs is a real achievement.
Look, the weight loss journey changes as you go along. It's easier to lose weight when you have a lot to lose. Perhaps now you need to almost start again, this time from a different starting position and learn how to do your personal weight loss phase two.
Perhaps you need to take what you have learnt - including that you CAN lose weight - and move forward into "round two" of your fight with your weight.
I bet you feel a lot better in your already 50 lb lighter body, so just imagine how much better you'll feel in your body when it's another 50 lb lighter. Think of those smaller size clothes you'll fit in to.
50lbs! Wow that is a tremendous loss! Well done you.
I agree that you'd be better off with a more substantial breakfast rather than Cornflakes. I don't find those very filling at all!
Have you tried porridge or maybe a couple of Weetabix with a sliced banana?
I love Shredded Wheat at the moment with Chia seeds. These are new to me but I understand they have many nutritional properties so I'm giving them a go!
All the best with your weight loss. Whatever you do....DON'T GIVE UP NOW!!
Are you eating the same things all the time? Try changing the food you eat?
