l am 18 weeks post op (hip replacement) l have never been more fit and able to walk long distances, l go out every day rain (with umbrella) or shine for at least 20 mins per day or more also managed to diet as well so at the moment lm on a high, need another operation at the end of the year (not hip related) so have the incentive to keep my BMI low to help with my next recovery. My weight has gone from 16st 1 to 13st 10 over a 1 year period not quick but steady with a few lapses so start your journey to a fitter better you.

Great news, Rostrenon, but what a shame that we haven't been on your journey with you. We haven't heard from you for 4 months, since you joined.
Why not join our Maintainers' Club and be more active on the forum, so that we can get to know each other?

Well done on the weight loss, operation recovery and walking. Actually over two stones in a year is not bad at all. Its about 15% weight loss and that produces major improvement in cardiovascular risk. Keep at it!
