I’m afraid I missed the weekly weigh in. I’m not doing that well but need to at least try to continue to lose weight as the alternative is grim! Bank holiday looms, but I’ll check in next week. Will I be able to input my data from this week or just skip to next Tuesday?
Thanks

What exactly is causing you to struggle? Are you too busy to plan? Getting too hungry? Maybe we can help. This forum is open 24hours a day, 7 days a week and has lots going on. Here the link to the daily chat thread, which has a list of all the events we have running and is a good place to let off steam, share any news or just have have a general grumble
No problem Jane, enter it next Tuesday and mention that it's for a 2 week period.
You say that you're not doing so well, so I was wonder if you'd thought about trying to involve yourself here more.
I think I should be called Badgerr not Tiggerr but the more active you are here, it really is true, that the more likely you are to stay focused and therefore become that much healthier.
Why not have a look at the Daily Diary. By writing down tomorrow's menu for yourself and in front of your fellow travellers, it does tend to make it that much easier to 'do the right thing'.
Look forward to seeing you there. I should have mentioned that it's a great place to see what others are doing, pinching their ideas and receiving constructive feedback
Thanks for your reply. I’m still fairly immobile, and finding it difficult to lose any weight, even when keeping my calories down to around 1600 a day. So I lost motivation for a few days...disaster! I know I must keep on for health reasons and I feel optimistic as I’ve started physio now following my accident, but I’m so frustrated that I can’t get out there and exercise! I usually walk the dog for a half hour daily, and do a Pilates session weekly.
I will keep on, and will weigh in next Tuesday, thank you.
Immobility is frustrating, maybe you need to accept a short spell of maintaining whilst you’re healing, your body will need good nutrition as well as time. I’m currently recuperating from an ankle fusion and will be immobile for 3 months so I do understand 😊
Yes. I agree, maintaining is possibly the only option for a while. I’m glad to be in this group though as it is supportive, and I don’t want to give up! I feel less guilty already. Thank you.
Guilt is very destructive. Be kind to yourself, it takes time to change eating habits, but you’ll get there. You have already proved that by being her right now, you didn’t give in. 👏😊
Ps ask your physio what Pilates poses you can maybe do, I’ve been doing yoga/Pilates every day since my surgery, adapted obviously. It won’t help weight loss but it helps me mentally 😊
Hello Jane. Tiggerr is giving some good advice. You say you are immobile at the moment but are you able to do any seated exercise? Although it might not help you lose weight but it may help your upper body. There are many you tube videos with ideas and you don’t need expensive equipment. A couple of cans of beans can be used as hand weights. 💪🏼💪🏼
