Welcome KiwiJo.

After having lost all my weight around 2 years ago, I eventually went off the rails and went carb mad. The problem with carbs is that they trigger a chemical reaction in the body that initially gives us a bit of a rush but then leaves us craving more. An awful vicious circle.

This time around, I've been moving away from carbs and my cravings have diminished to the point where I almost don't have any... not something I expected to be able to say.

I know this is easier said than done but try making small changes and make them stick.

In the meantime, have you considered joining one of the weekly weigh-ins and the Daily Diary.

Maybe you can try fasting and gradually decrease sugar in your diet .

Craving carbs was my problem too, but the hungry angry cravings have diminished since going on LCHF. To see why the vicious cycle of cravings occur watch YouTube videos “The Skinny on Obesity” episodes 3 and 4 (I’d recommend the rest of series as well if you have time!) best of luck.

I do revisit them from time to time to remind myself why and how LCHF is working for me :))
