Hi and welcome, Lizzywiz82
My advice would be:
Eat enough good satiating food at your evening meal, to ensure you're not hungry.
Don't have snack foods in the house.
Don't sit watching TV, until you've broken the habit. Go for a walk, go for a bath, take up a hobby, phone/visit a friend. Anything to change that habitual routine.

What are you snacking on? Are you able to keep the house empty of them? This can be hard depending if you live with others or not.
I've got rid of biscuits and cakes (partly as wheat gives me an upset tummy) so find I'm less tempted to snack. I still have chocolate occasionally, I'm loosing weight so not planning to cut that out as I don't want to feel like I'm depriving myself constantly as that's when I tend to binge.
I've also taken up knitting to keep my hands occupied whilst watching tv. I have a baby and an 8 year old so don't have the option of going out in the evening as a distraction.
Hi I do the 16/8 so dont eat after 7pm, thats when the "kitchen closed" sign goes up ! You can borrow it if you like? Lol

Hi Lizzywiz82 my advice would be to find something to keep you busy - knitting/crochet/handicrafts that keep your hands and mind that busy you wont think about food !
I knit and have found this particularly helpful in those evenings when bored with TV and just head to the kitchen !!!
Try it :o)
