Another diet

Just started a other diet at slimming World weight loss very slow. I’m only 5ft tall and family say I’m eating too much free food therefore taking in too many calories for my size, did SP last week stuck too it and put on 1/2 Lb scunnered and looking for advice

Hi and welcome, dotandavy :)

I'm afraid there's no such thing as 'free' foods, especially carbohydrates, they all need to be counted. You can try looking at the calorie count of your foods, so that you can see what a portion size should be, for you, or you could follow a very different way of eating, such as this phcuk.org/wp-content/upload... If you opt for calorie counting, then make sure you get an individual calorie allowance, from the NHS BMI calculator, based on your personal details.

Not that I would try and tell anybody how to loose weight, but I would also state that there is no 'free' food. I would also guess that you are probably not eating enough, so please take the advice Moreless has given you regarding working out your personal calorie range and start towards the top end. It would be worth you calorie counting a few meals just to see what your portions should look like, or follow the eating plan that Moreless has given you the link to :)

Thankyou I will give it a go

I’ve also tried slimming world and am not a great fan. I am doing much better on a portion controlled diet that I know gives me 1400-1600 calories a day
