Okay, so I'm trying again to begin a new diet for the umpteenth time. I have tried and failed many diets, some a week or a couple of weeks in and the other on the same days.
I am now opting to slowly work my way through the 12 week NHS plan and hope this will be the diet I'll stick too. I haven't done this before (diet blog), but I'm willing to give it a shot.
Good luck to all you fellow dieters! Wish me luck too!

Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum Grey2019 😊
You are not alone in arriving here after a life time of yo-yo dieting. The best advice I can give is have enough to eat. If you are following the NHS 12 Week plan then the 1400/1900 calorie target suggested is a just generic amount, please check your own personal calorie target using the BMI checker, it’s often higher than you think. We always advise starting towards the top of the range, being hungry is the biggest cause of weight loss failure
Follow this link to our chat thread and a list of all the activities we run. We've found active participation to be key to success, especially with our weigh-ins and Daily Diary healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
If you haven’t already, then please read the Welcome post here which has lots of useful information about all the things we have on offer healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Welcome to the forum, Grey2019, and to finding a way of eating that can keep you healthy and that you will enjoy for life
The forum is a great place for interaction, rather than for blogging. That's how you'll get to know people, to share ideas and the ups and downs. Take your time reading the links IndigoBlue has given you and I would recommend joining a weekly weigh in on the day of your choice.
Hi and welcome Grey2019 ! As BridgeGirl says, the forum provides a great opportunity for interaction and mutual support.
You can join in on the Daily Diary every day, where we record our plans for eating and exercise, and any related challenges we face, and share support, tips and advice with each other.
There's also the "What's happening today?" thread where we can talk about anything we like (within reason, haha!)
You will find these threads easily once you get used to the site.
