Morning everyone😊 Thanks for letting me join in, as I'm going to need some help trying to shed a few kgs from hubby's belly fat which has piled on since changing his job from hands on to sitting at a computer desk. He has 3 stone to lose, whilst I have a mere half. Onwards and slimmer we go then🙏🏻

Hello Helibobs and welcome! You sound well-motivated and determined to do this - does your husband feel the same way? Being able to do it together and motivate each other during tough days would definitely be a boon.

Thanks😊 He is more determined than I am, I'm just going along for the ride to encourage him. Every January he has started a diet, which lasts the whole year, up and down, and after christmas we start all over again, because I do all the meal planning at home, whilst he tucks into the freebie biscuits at work, so I'm on a lost cause really. He has decided now on the low carb, everything has been planned by me, I'm all prepped here, but will he give in to temptation at tea break?! If he does, he is only cheating himself. I will stop eating that chocolate Cornetto each day after lunch and chocolate at night and that's me sorted👍😊

"If he does, he is only cheating himself."

Very true, and sadly there´s nothing we can do to lose other people´s weight for them. As long as you keep that in mind and don´t take it personally I think you´ll do great. Best of luck!

Remember, along with low carb you need to increase healthy fats.
