Hi, Naz_mi , Welcome.
As BridgeGirl says, the usual advice is not to try to lose weight fast - and get a lifetime healthy-eating lifestyle.
...but, if:
...you do not have any metabolization problems
...you have a bit extra to lose after the festive season
...you do not have a history of "failed diets"
You might get close.
If you can lose weight easily, you might be able to lose a pound or two a week plus seven pounds.
Intermittent fasting (IF) works... but it can take months to get your body to get used to it.
Try not eating late in the evenings, and stop eating earlier and earlier, until you eat nothing after lunch... I normally eat breakfast after 10:00 and then eat nothing after 14:00 so that is fasting 20/24... but 16/24 is more popular. Missing breakfast is another option.
Eat meat and vegetables, and cut down on carbohydrates, potato, crisps, snacks, sweets, chocolate, puddings etc.
If you can walk a few kilometres a day that will help a great deal.
If you feel fain or irritable, you might have Hypoglycaemia.
Diets are never easy because if you are told not to eat something you crave it. I have lost a stone but it took a few months as I go gym too and had health issues so was retaining weight. Track everything you eat and drink see where you are going wrong but be honest. cut down meat, carbs like pasta, rice, potatoes, drink lots of water, eat lots of fruit, veg, salads no dressings or low calorie ones . Join any group eg badminton, dancing, ww, slimming world. Walk and cycle more. The combined exercise and cutting down should shift some weight.
