Planning Workouts

Hey all, so I was blessed with a planner for Xmas and was thinking of using it to, among other things, plan workouts. Where should I begin with this? I was thinking focus each month on a specific area of the body.

What do you guys do?

Hi and welcome, SaraMarie24 :)

I don't really do planned workouts. I walk every day, use my exercise bike most days and do strength exercises when I feel like it. For weight loss, it's far better to plan meals and shopping.

Make sure that whatever you plan to do now, you'll still be wanting to do it in 5 years time :)

Thank you!! I usually don’t plan them either. If anything, though I try to workout every Monday. I do keep track of when I do workout.

Oh yes, I’ve heard meal planning is beneficial. I can give that a try!

I keep a journal and us it to plan meals, exercise and also any inspiring or motivating quotes. The most important thing is to keep an accurate record of all food consumed, with calories of course. 😊

True, I actually started one last year, but I have to keep at it. Logging food has been helpful in the past, so I can work on that as well. I could definitely work on meal planning. A possible new year’s goal!
