Just wondering if anyone notices that their weight fluctuates daily?
I know it’s better to weigh yourself once a week as to not get disheartened but sometimes I can’t help myself and I find that one day I’ll be 11st7 and the next day I will go up to 11st10 even though I haven’t eaten anything substantial? Is this normal?
Thanks!

It’s perfectly normal for me! I weigh every day and it’s always different-often by 3-4 lbs. I think it’s to do with water retention and hormones(although I ‘mtoo old for that)
It’s normal and as someone else posted the other day, it even changes depending where you put the scales! I was almost thinking of marking out the weekly position on the bathroom floor!
It's so good to know that we are all normal. Well, in our own ways
My weight varies by day and time of day so I try to weigh myself at the same time each week. There are so many variables that it only makes sense to weigh weekly; but even so I will check it a few times a week; it's hard not to when you are hopeful of seeing a drop...
If you fluctuate all the time (that sounds rude!), you could take a weekly average but better still keep an eye on measurements (which WONT change every day!)
Definitely keep at it & don't worry about the scales! Speaking from experience, I made the mistake in my second week here of jumping on the scales during the week, only for it to tell me I'd put on weight - I had a wobble & decided I might as well give up! Luckily I came to my senses, had a word with myself & kept going - thank heaven I did. I still get on the scales most days, but I don't have a drama if it says more than yesterday - as long as the trend is downward & Saturday is the important one 😊 you're doing great, onwards and downwards
