Hello Cake123 and welcome to the weight loss forum.

I suggest you use the NHS 12 week plan, that will give you a good start.

Please take time to read it so you'll know what the forum has to offer.

Hello Cake123. I am also new today. I am feeling as though I have taken the first step to sorting out a lot of my problems. I hope it will be the same for you and good luck for your week.

Welcome to the forum sorry to hear you are feeling down Break the 3 stone into bits so make your first goal half a stone which you can and will do Once you have that loss you will start to feel great and then another half You could do that by Christmas

I think the best thing is not to have unhealthy things in the house except a little treat each day so you don't feel deprived or crave it Also a walk every day if you can that will help your anxiety too

I found green tea although - I didn't particularly like it - was brilliant for filling me up when I got the munchies it kept me going until my main meal

Soup is brilliant that's filling and good for you

You can do it I did and I'm a wimp when it comes to willpower

I can really recommend Dr Claire Weekes books or Dare response by Barry McDonagh all on Amazon for anxiety they are brilliant Mindfulness too is fantastic and that helps with eating There are some lovely relaxation videos on YouTube too

Wishing you loads of luck and sending a happy hug 😊

Hi and welcome to the forum. I would just like to echo what others have said - the NHS 12 week plan is great and is really helping me as is breaking down goals into manageable ones. I have 6 or 7 stone to lose overall and am focusing on roughly half a stone at a time, although I'm doing it in kilos. Wishing you lots of luck on your weight loss journey. You've taken one really important step by coming on here already.

I have just replied to 2 posters on here . 1 has shared a great exercise video for us all to copy where they are just themselves ..no crazy 6 packs or plastic surgery . The other has lost 6lbs this week by taking their weight loss journey seriously . You can do it too .

Hi Cake123

I use the happy scale app it is free and breaks down loss into 10 segments i really think it's helped me. Make sure you build in rewards non food ones for each milestone. This forum is so supportive and I pop on here for motivation and inspiration. Good luck you can do this.
