Right here goes. Always done slimming world on and off for years. Lost 1 stone 10 pound last year ready for my hols 1 month in USA trip of a lifetime. Put all that weight back on. Had to buy size 18 clothes first time ever. Feel so ashamed I’ve got so big as I’m not very tall. Thought I would try something different.

Welcome Katarta someone from admin will be along soon to welcome you properly but I thought I’d pop by and say hello.
When they reply to you they will give you links for using the site read all the info as it will help you navigate around the site, I still use it and I’ve been here awhile. They will send you a link for the Nhs bmi calculator I would use it to get a calorie range that you can eat between and still lose weight but not feel hungry and want to snack, it’s usually more cals than you think you should eat but it does work.
Ask as many questions as you have as someone will help you as they’ve already tried it first but remember none of us are medically trained (well I’m not) so on anything medical we would advise you to seek help from your gp.
Join in as much as you want to as we are a sociable group of people who are here to support each other along the way.
You have asked I another post about meal plans (I read it and also saw you posted here) we don’t really have meal plans as it’s more a lifestyle change than a diet, but, we do have a daily diary where people post what they are planning to eat for the next day I use it to get meal ideas every now and again. I calorie count so I use an app called MyFitnessPal (its a free app) to workout what I’m eating calorie wise and basically eat anything healthy upto my daily limit and so far it’s working for me.
So I’m going to stop boring you now and say welcome to the site and I look forward to seeing you around the site.
Pete
Hi and welcome, Katarta
The trouble with slimming clubs, is that they teach you how to diet and the 12 week plan is different. It gives you the tools you need, to learn how to have a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, hence no diet sheets.
If you log your menu plans onto our daily diary, we'll offer advice and you will be able to get great ideas from the menus of other diarists. healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
To make navigating the forum easier, we've put all the information you'll need in a newbie pack and here's the link

Hi Moreless
I’m new to this forum and can see that people are talking of signing up for the 12 week plan, but I can’t see where to actually ‘sign up’?
Could you please point me in the right direction?
Cheers
Paul
