Weight has increased since menopause. Feeling unhappy with body image. Do a fair bit of exercise, running (training for 1/2 marathon) and Hiit classes but weight not shifting as eating and drinking habits are all wrong I have to reluctantly acknowledge.
Hoping that the community aspect will keep me motivated.
I have about a stone to loose.

This is a very busy forum with lots going, and nothing beats joining in, reading posts and replying to others. Our group Weigh-in and the Daily Diary are probably the best places to start.
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism. Cutting down on alcohol and (refined) carbs should make a difference.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
Hi Plum60. I am in a similar position - I think I'm starting menopause and also run and do hiit but without weightloss success. I feel relatively fit but know that I am becoming heavier.
