hi I am new to this site so not sure where i am right now. I have just been told I am boarder line Diabetic with a blood count of 44, not high for sure but enough to sort of kick me into to doing something about it. I guess you can call me a yoyo dieter because I lose weight and then put it back on again so quickly but this time i will have to try very hard not to as my health is more likely to be affected. Problem is I can't get motivated, anyone else in the same boat?

Part of the idea of the NHS 12 week plan is to train the body by eating sensibly and losing weight gradually. Losing weight too fast is more likely to lead to yo yo dieting.
Good luck!
thank you, Tiggerr i have been looking at the 12 week plan this morning and I am going to give it a go.
Thank you, i do have a large waist and suffer mildly from arthritis and osteoporosis. I will look at the link.
