First post 4 stone to go and it feels daunting at 63. I believe its never to late. Living alone I'm a lazy cook with a love for cheese on toast. I would love to find some tasty simple recipes

Hi RevKev and welcome to the weight loss forum.

I can seem daunting at first but just take it one day at a time and break the 4 stone up into 7lbs targets.

You are invited to join our Newbie Club, where you can meet other new members who are just beginning their weigh loss journeys too. Here's the link for all the information you will need to find your way around the forum:

Write a brief note to introduce yourself to other newbies and I'm sure you'll be making friends, in no time.

Good luck with your first week.

Never too late RevKev !!

Welcome to this fantastic place where you'll only ever find support and friends with the same aim.

Don't mention COT..... It's completely addictive to me, red or brown sauce?

Have a great first week here and good luck on your journey.

Yes RevKev I went through a cheese on toast stage I now find it to greasy, I. Do love cheese so limit myself to just a little. Grated on a salad. I like simple recipes as it’s just my hubby and myself to cook for and he is very traditional in what he will eat, He says ‘I don’t want your diet rubbish’ or sometimes changes the rubbish word for something more colourful/unprintable...

Good luck with your weight loss.

It is definitely never too late RevKev there have been lots of us on here over 60 who successfully got down to a healthy weight . I started age 62 and lost 2.5 stone . I've managed to keep it all off and am now 65.

If you tap on our profile pic/name you can read peoples profiles and historic posts about our journey. But there are many new members jpining every day so you'll always be in good company. As mentioned above by admin yellow roses, the Newbie Club is a good place to start.
