Happy New Year when it comes, everyone. Love look of these boards, joined a few years ago, but mainly lurked. Lost 5 stone 2 years ago, but gained 2 and a half back. Nothing fits, feel a mess, going to try my best to lose 3 and a half. All the best.

Hi Lily42, as moreless suggests we will get so much more from these pages if we contribute more.

I've only been a member for a couple of weeks but I feel so much more in control already.

Follow the links to the Daily Diary and the Weekly Weigh In. We learn from each other and cheer each other on.

If you have problems finding the threads you need, just shout and someone somewhere will be able to explain.

Good luck.🍀xx

Thanks very much, tubby54, will look. Thing is, I'm on holiday from work at moment and feel relaxed and committed, but probs will set in once I go back after New Year. Coming home late, in the dark, tired and hungry, etc. Going to try to be be better prepared, meal planning, using food diary, leaving food ready for evening meal, etc, as these are my areas of weakness. Thanks again.

Hi, Lily42 , welcome back.

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.

Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
