Coming here shows you want to get back on track. You know you can do it so hopefully support is all you need to kick start you again. Good luck 👍

Well done on losing 3 stone last year. That was brilliant 😊 Unfortunately though it is a fact that it's much easier to gain than to lose. But you're back here now and can lose it again, this time for keeps.
Take it slowly even just a pound a week is good. The slower the loss the more likely you are to keep it off.. a proven fact. This has to be a way of life so do not deprive yourself or think of it as "a diet " .... think of new habits that you can adopt for life and you will be able to keep up longterm.
But your first target is just 2 or 3 pounds, then a couple more , and a couple more, and so on. You will do it and will find lots of support on here for your journey, plus lots of maintainers to help you in the longer term.
Don't be disheartened; this is just life getting in the way. Nobody loses weight and stays there...we all live with ups and downs, but taking control before the weight impacts on your health and lifestyle is what really matters, and you are doing that by coming on here!
I too lost 3 stone and have since regained one, but hopefully now going back down again, particularly now the stress and eating temptations of Christmas, New Year and family gatherings are behind us!
Clear out the fridge, give away or throw away the naughty foods and plan some colourful and tasty meals, with making some time for some fresh air and exercise thrown in! Find a new focus; a reason to do it. Mine is to hopefully buy a horse to ride, and not an elephant!
Hi DD . Im sure you'll be riding a lovely slender horse before too long.
Its true many do regain a bit, but it is possible to maintain. Not an exact fixed weight but within a few pounds ( say 1-5 lbs) . But if we think of weightloss as "a diet " with an end date, then we are almost bound to revert to the habits that got us fat orginally. However ,if we can view it as a longterm compromise ... say 80% healthy eating/20% less healthy, and keep an eye on it, then it is certainly possible to maintain for ever. Good luck and happy new year. 😊
