Hi everyone! I've been losing weight since September this year and shockingly I have managed to stay good over Christmas- including Christmas day, however my greed is now catching up now. The past two nights have seen me indulge in things like chocolate, crisps and cheeses, and I'm currently in a tentative stare off with a big box of celebrations. Can't seem to think of a reason not to eat the whole lot, which is daft because I have been a bit naughty already today...
Don't want to blow all my progress just because I've had a bit of a wobble, and justify it with 'but it's Christmas!'
Can someone please just give me a bit of motivation/ inspiration to get through this night without scoffing the lot because I know I will feel better for resisting! Thank you x

Hi I have only started today so I will try my best to help. Have a glass of water to try and fill yourself up so that there is no room for anything else. Could you give away some of the goodies you have so that you can stay strong.
Welcome and well done on losing weight since September.. enjoy the forum...

I know it is late but you can do this!!!!!!! I gained 3 pounds over Christmas and am not too concerned as I have been losing 1 to 2 pounds a week so it is only 2 weeks and I will be back to where I was. I recommend if it is calling your name, freeze it or toss it. is anyone going to miss it? if it cannot be frozen then at least take it out of your line of sight. try to toss it out of your mind. I am not sure what you are talking about .. a box of celebrations.. but I can imagine it is like ice cream is to me. not able to resist. so, I don't buy it if I can avoid it. (hubby likes ice cream). sorry I am so late getting back to you, I just found this post but remember.. nothing tastes as good as thin feels!!
