I have always been the big girl, looking back on when I was a teenager I wasn't over weight I was just bigger than my tiny friends. I have always had a bad relationship with food and I now suffer with an underactive thyroid. So I've decided this has to be the year I do something about it and try to get healthier and fitter before I hit 40. My husband and I have also decided we want to try for a baby, so not only do I not have age on my side I definitely don't have weight on my side.
I have tried every yo yo diet under the sun and I am currently at my heaviest. So hello everyone, I am here for the long haul and will hopefully meet some like minded people on my journey to healthier version of me.

Good luck with it all. I'd say don't overhaul everything all at once but make lots of small changes over time. Gives your body time to adjust to the new diet, too.
