I love food mainly bad food!! I have just weighed myself and got the shock of my life! Looking to lose 3 stone and try and change my bad habits and change my lifestyle. I feel like I have a long hard road ahead of me and I have very little willpower. Don’t really cook either 🙈

Hi Julie
Welcome aboard.
A couple of tips that most people would agree with:
Don't try to change everything at once if you're not that sort of person.
Write down your food for a couple of days then go back and pick one thing you think would be easy to change. Work on that until you are comfortable with it then move onto something else.
Read as much as you can on this site. There's lots to learn that can help you in your journey.
And don't go all guns blazing into exercise if you are not normally an active person. Again - a bit at a time.
Little changes all add up in the end
Thanks for your advice! I’m starting by being good at work and then from next week going try to plan my meals. When I go shopping I’m not buying any junk haha! 😀
Good way to start Especially if you are kept busy.
If you can't resist buying junk only buy half of what you would normally. Put what you can in the freezer - chocolate lasts longer if frozen and you just savour it and melt it on your tongue
Buy less again next time.
You've had good advice above. Take baby steps. This isn't about " going on a diet". Initially it is about making "just enough" healthier changes to lose some weight. For some people this is as simple as eating a proper breakfast and therefore not needing the crisps or buns at 11am. For others it's just about reducing portion size without denying favourite foods. On this site everyone is leading a ( fairly!) normal life with xmas, holidays, parties etc that we have to work around.
As said by kiwikyd-nz above, start now and change just one thing at a time. You may surprise yourself how less daunting that is. 😊
Thanks I am going to take that advice. For me I need to plan better, give up takeaways and stop having breakfasts at work. I’ve taken cereal into work now so instead of my usual sausage bap I will have special k. I’m starting with that for now and to cut out bread 😀
