Hi I'm a bit embarrassed well more than a bit about my weight gain. I've put on 4stone in 2 years. It's all comfort and happy eating as Im due to marry my best friend in 7 months time. He's very worried for my health and I agree. I just feel very overwhelmed by it all. I've only ever done diets and never healthy living so I've always been an all or nothing type of person. But it's time to make sure that I'm around for the longest time so I know I need to make a start.

Hello, I understand it disappointing, Ive been there too and still got a few more to go, but What I wanted to share was that my weight was related to the WEIGHT I carried on my shoulders so to speak. I tried to hard, I did too much, and carried too many people, I complained everything was an effort, only by letting go of the emotions I carried did I begin to release the weight.

Keep going, don't give up and start looking after yourself.

Do you mind me asking how you did that? I lost 4 stone, but on a stone, again big time comfort eating, so can't shift this stone again. Thanks

Hi, I can totally relate to your post. I did the same. 3 years ago I started the NHS 12 week plan. Yes it was tough at the beginning but support on here helped. Unfortunatley, I have had a bad year and put on a stone Try and do little changes so you can keep them going. If you have a bad day, start the next day back on your changes, don't use it as an excuse to keep going on the bad way! Good luck, you have a huge motivation of a wedding .
