Hi quinnyboy

I'm using a calorie controlled diet its working for me , if I don't use them all in one day I can use the remainder on other days or you can save them up for the weekend and not be so worried .

Good morning Paul, glad you want to make a change. Taking little steps to build a new healthier lifestyle. Maybe cut back on takeaway gradually then stopping completely after atime. Start homecooking on mass and freezing.

Wishing you lots of success on your weight lose journey

Hi there Paul and welcome. I would agree with Honey10 that batch cooking is a good idea. It is possible to make healthy takeaway type food at home. There are loads of recipe ideas on here. My key piece of advice is to preplan your meals that way you are far less likely to get tempted by the takeaways. It is amazing how well it works. Have a good look around and get involved. Good luck. Hello there quinnyboy

Dieting isn't for everyone and neither is exercise so with that in mind you could go a couple of ways

1. Eat smaller portions at meal times (take away a quarter) and in between meals when your feeling hungry grab an apple or other piece of fruit.

2. Try to start your day off with a cereal of some sort or if you like porridge then that as it will fill you for longer and in turn make the need for a smaller portion at lunch time.

If your not wanting to give up take aways and you have Chinese then ask them for the vegetarian dishes or if they do slimmers meals, which taste exactly the same by the way.

Cutting out everything and trying to go cold turkey never did anyone any good and the chances are they fail every time because it plays on their mind constantly and they end up cheating so you may aswell do it slowly and get used to the change in portions and as you go along try changing what you eat and as you see the benefits then do it more, good luck.

Not what you're looking for?
