Yes still here, hanging around backstage of the forum, not wearing my bandana and leggings any more ( see earlier posts for explanation) and still the same old 16 stone-ish weight.
But tomorrow .... My equally 16 stone-ish daughter and I are joining slimming world...
I'll have to cook, and eat properly, and try to totally forget any preconceived ideas , because, really, I don't see how eating all that food they allow you, will work....and yet, I keep seeing all these people beaming at me from their before and after pictures....how can I differ from them?
It,will be an interesting experiment. I want to be 11 stone.
Watch this space....

Good luck to you both - you can support each other as well as dropping by here. You're just one step away from being fabulous!
Truth is, any diet will work if you're able to stick at it. I lost weight at SW and WW and 2 x SS and Atkins etc, etc, you get the picture It's really all down to what's going on in our heads.
If you're determined enough, you and your daughter could be seeing 11 stone sooner, rather than later
thanks Moreless - and of course your right - totally ! I think Im fed up of messing around now, and want to get on and lose some - ALL! Being heavy is no fun really, Ive tried to think it could be, and always check appearance, look after hair, keep to trends etc. but at the end of the day, it would all FEEL better without this "other person" to carry about with me. Im probably 17stone when I weight tomorrow, and there are 6 stone people out there, so Im trying to visualise the fact that Im constantly carrying one of them. Cant be good for the heart.
Thanks for your good wishes ( and everybodys encouragement and patience ) x
I'm carrying the equivalent of my 8st grandson and the scary thing is that I can't actually lift him off the ground! No wonder everything's such an effort
