Have a look on Dale Pinnock’s website. He is often called the Medicinal Chef and talks a lot about what foods help with different things, just a thought.
Hello and welcome gemmapa 😊
I hope you have had time to read all the Newbie Club information and are finding your way around the forum.
Sometimes, taking control of one aspect of our lives can have a positive knock on effect on others, decide to make your eating and nutrition a priority, and perhaps taking 10-15 minutes every day to get outside and walk in the fresh air are two simple but positive first steps 😊
Also, joining in on the forum, reading posts and replying to others will reap huge rewards as Ceals says in her lovley post today healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
Knowing others are going through the same as you is hugely beneficial
Lastly, have you looked at any other forums specifically for Anxiety?

Good luck and best wishes

Have a look at Michael Mosley's book / website called "The Clever Guts Diet". He writes about how the type of food we eat can have a profound effect on our gut bacteria, which in turn can affect every aspect of our health. Some very tasty recipes using the whole rainbow of vegetables. Some useful advice on Mindfulness and sleep problems too.
Good luck.
Hello and Welcome! I suggest you lower your caffeine intake. that works well for me. I notice when I drink too much it makes me jittery and far more susceptible to anxiety attacks.
yes perhaps de caff would work better and easy on the sugar? one thing at a time. but these work for me as chocolate has a lot of caffeine in it and when I eat too much I get jittery then too. also I do not think of this as a diet, that makes me anxious, but as a new, healthy way of eating. I really do still get anxiety attacks, sometimes bad ones, but these help me not have them so often.
I was going to suggest some herbal teas specifically rosehip or chamomile which I've just started drinking for my stresses but if you don't want to give up your coffee then maybe this not for you. Herbs are a great natural product though for all health aspects.
