My name is Helen, I have started my healthy eating plan this morning. I am 60 and have osteoarthritis in my knees which is why I desperately need to lose a lot of weight around 8 st. I work from home so need to plan an exercise routine out. I think starting to go for a gentle walk each day and building on that would be a good way to start. My goal is to get down to a weight I feel happy with and start a pilates class up for the over 50s and for people that are less mobile which I have trained for but never found the time to do.

You'll definitely feel the difference in your knees, as you lose the weight, I certainly did. Gradually building up the walking was exactly what I did too
