Halloween danger

Right, I thought i was getting ok (day 3 and a complete change of attitude: I am not counting calories but am simply ditching junk food and out of hours snacking) - that is my plan for now. BUT I have just got the Halloween treats in for tonight; I am ok around sweets but NOT the chocolate or the scary mini doughnuts. Am feeling in my danger zone - which is why I am straight on here, reading inspirational quotes and reminding myself why tonight is a no no for me.

For me treats and alcohol are for special occasions such as birthdays or lunch with friends, I have no intention of cutting them out completely. But I want to get back to my childhood of enjoying them as a rare treat; tonight is NOT for me, it is for the children. I wilnot be dressing up and so iwill not be scoffing. Looking forward to Sunday lunch with friends instead.

Thanks for listening to me, I feel better now, focused again.

Well done for using us to provide focus. I agree about the treats tonight being for the children - in my case the two little boys across the road. We are the only house their Mum lets them come to so I have to make sure they get some goodies.

Well done for talking yourself round👍 I tell myself they are no good for My body I deserve good things for it to work well and keep saying it til the moment has gone.
