I couldn't resist taking some pics on my sunny walk today. We had a wonderful three hours exploring Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury. Being half term there were more children about, but it was good to see them running through the leaves, rather than indoors with a computer game.

Hasn't it been a lovely day? Perfect for visiting an Arboretum! We postposed a planned cinema trip as it was simply too lovely to be inside in the dark for the afternoon.

I was doing something tree related too - raking and sweeping up bags and bags of oak trees!

Great pics Ellie. I crunched through loads of crispy autumn leaves on this morning's run. I do love autumn -especially when it's not raining

I don't know what it is but I do like crunching those leaves. I feel like part of the natural cycle as in the woods the leaves get left and mulch into the mud, forming the new path once everything dries out again in late spring

Beautiful elliebath , great pictures. What a lovely place..even with all the kids there it was probably still quieter than the concert I went to there a few years ago!

Ha yes the Stranglers wouldn't usually be in my sing-a-long repertoire, but yesterday I couldn't stop humming this one!
