Hi and welcome 1Sunny1
I recommend you work on 7lb goals and take it from there
I would like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out, or re-starting.
If you just post a few words on the October Newbie Club thread to introduce yourself and respond to others there you will soon feel part of the club.
Hi 1Sunny1 . Welcome to the group. I agree the ranges of the BMI given are very wide and I believe I would be positively waif-like if I ever got to the lower half of my range !

Vegetable casserole instead of potatoes, pasta and rice is my key 'magic ingredient', and for me that works. Have also been more active than before, trying to do my 10,000 steps a day, although lately with other commitments that has not been achieved too much. But started getting back on track with the exercise today (despite the rain here ) and am over 12k steps so far today.
Good luck with your weight loss journey - I find this group a great help so hopefully you will too. Keep us posted with your progress. All the best for your first week

For health reasons i must try to find a solution.
Well done on your step count, how on earth do you achieve them all? Im struggling with achieving 3,000 at the moment. Son bought me a fit bit for my birthday the rascal lol....so only just understanding how i get my steps in
