Just got the results back and although am a little clearer on whats lacking the doctor just didn't fill me in or even see me. I got a letter to tell me to go pick up the meds. I had no clue until I picked them up that I had very low vitamin d levels too,( as well as low thyroid and low iron). The box says to take one tablet every 2 weeks for 10 weeks but he as stated on the box I am to take 2 tablets a week for 10 weeks. I have no idea why its a big difference. So now its thyroid to be taken without food and leave 4 hours between taking iron tablets to which I have to leave 4 hours between all 3 tablets a day and then 2 vitamin d a week. If I don't lose weight by simply having to avoid food for hours and not taking things together then something is a miss! LOL.
If anyone knows a bit about the above or how best to take them I would be grateful. I have been so ill.
Anyway, STOP OCTOBER....I have given up ALL junk. I am not drinking the smoothies but am making the soups. I have taken 2 inches off my waist since last month but none anywhere else so still big. I will take them again at the end of the month but I know for sure I want this so bad ....even when I went shopping today and kids picked choc or crisps for a treat I picked things for my soup or carefully thought out meals. I am no chef but I am hoping to cook things from scratch. My mom bought me a machine which slow cooks, roasts, makes alsorts so I will test that one too. I am hoping your all happy and still taking part (them who wanted to). I will forever be positive and I really want to be human again and I don't feel it. No point moaning about weight if I keep filling my face so I have stopped and I am back on track.

I tried making an appointment instead of the letter but when I rang they simply said I have to give it time to work then he will see me to see how I am getting on. I got more information picking the pills up from the chemist but the amount of time I have to leave between each pill and between food just makes things tough to follow but at least it will stop me snacking. I do know low thyroid can bring about low iron and vitamin d so I guess it makes sense....I am going to try to get it all in my diet within time
Yes the dizzy days seem to be getting better so it makes me able to want to try harder and cook etc...looking forward to how much I will lose at the end of the month
alwaysstartingagain Hi can I suggest you take your meds to your pharmacist and get him/her to help you sort it out as that sounds a nightmare situation!! I'm also concerned incase someone has mis typed the label although this should have been checked before they handed them over to you but we are all human and sometimes mistakes are made.
It sounds like you are making a good start at doing your meals from scratch I find it helps saying "no that's not good fuel for your body" when I'm food shopping.
Hope you can find a way of getting your meds sorted to make it easier for you and good luck
