newbie alert!
Hi snoobs and welcome! I joined a week ago with 6 stone to lose, the support and encouragement received from people on here has been great! The best advice I was given was to break the weight I need to lose into 7lb chunks and I have found this really helps! Counting calories is a must - I use MyFitnessPal. Wishing you all the best 😊
Hello Snoobs. I turned 33 a couple of months ago, and joined here a couple of weeks back. I'd also recommend MyFitnessPal, it's especially handy when you can just scan the barcode of things that you're eating.
Hello snoobs and welcome to the Weigh Loss Forum
You are not alone in feeling shocked and unhappy about the number on the scales, trust me, we have all been there 😕
I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here is the link

Good luck in your weight loss journey.
best wishes

hi and welcome. You've taken a great first step by deciding to lose weight and joining the forum. Planning meals ahead works for me, although it can be quite time consuming. Plan ahead what you will eat each day to help you stick to it. Take one day at a time, slow and steady and you'll see the weight come off. I'm sure you already look fantastic, but with every pound lost you will be thinner and have a great sense of achievement
