melt down

I have had a very stressful time recently, first resigning from work two weeks ago due to bullying and harassment and today splitting up from my partner of 18 months. However it is the end of the day and I have stayed on my healthy eating plan. If this was last year I would have reached for the chocolate to make myself feel better. 36 pounds off and feeling pleased with myself.

Thanks YellowRose, I feel good about not turning to chocolate. It's been so long I don't actually know if I would even like the taste of it now. Also I just don't over eat these days it seems alien to want to do that - so long may this continue!!!

You have the power and can make choices for yourself.. Keep making wise choices and your confidence will grow and shine.. So when you go for your next interview.. You will be walking tall - confident of who you are and what you want.

There is no-one more attractive than a person who is confident of themselves and comfortable in their own skin and with their choices.. Not only in personal relationships but in the job market too.

I'm not surprised you are feeling pleased with yourself about resisting the call of chocolate, I don't think i'd be so good especially if there were crisps in the house.Hope things get better for you soon

Hi Dipper, first so sorry about the job and the break up. But I think you showed real strength and power in not putting up with the bullying and harrassment any more. So good on you. Next another strength in not turning to chocolate or any other comfort food which is real determination. As others have said another job will come along and the right one for you. So remember you are strong and have not faltered and although you might trip you have the determination to keep going. Good luck best wishes and good vibes to you. xXx :) :)

Thanks Jennilou, I will feel better when I get a new job, it did get to the stage where I knew I had to walk away from the old one and I have absolutely no regrets. I think that months of eating healthy has paid off as I don't really crave any unhealthy foods. Long may it continue. xx
