Hi Ramsey180

Welcome to the weight loss forum.

Sorry to sound like a bit of a downer but losing 2st in a month is not healthy for you. Your weight did not go on over night and will not come off over night either. Please have a rethink and do it by eating healthy and then the weight will stay off!

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Have a look at the Daily Diary which you can find on the Home page in Events. It is where all the members are sharing their daily plans on what they are eating and any exercise they are doing. This thread will give you some ideas on how to start.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us today. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

Have a good first week.

Hi Ramsey180 there is no such diet to lose that sort of weight in a month.. Please rethink your expectations and choose a balanced food plan that will keep you healthy.

There are many products and empty promises on the market, but many have resulted in organ damage or worse the death of some who trusted them.

Please take the time to read the post from YellowRose55 there is a lot of information there that has no price tag, but genuine health benefits. NHS is a trusted health care service... Thats why you joined the forum... Stick with it and work towards your goals for a healthy weight loss and life ahead.

Wishing you good judgement going forwards.

Hi Ramsey 180. I agree with YellowRose55. Losing 2st in 2 months isn't a realistic goal. Weight lost quickly tends to go back on. Take it slowly and you will have a better chance of keeping it off. All the best for your weight loss journey.

i think to lose 2st in a month is an unrealistic target to aim for... obviously i dont know what your starting weight is and im sure you will lose weight quickly on your 1st week of dieting but 1-2lbs a week is a better target to aim for after the 1st week or so..... i know crash diets work shortterm but are not substainable and you will just end up putting the weight back on again just as quickly.. if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off its best to take a more scenic route and keep the weight off permanantly.. good luck x
